They have to be carefully slurried. However, experience has shown that they can be easily applied in plasters and fillers. The iron oxides are characterised by very strong colouring power, but in some cases have a higher binder requirement. Especially the red iron oxides are often cloudy\/stripey, especially in lime paints.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0For tinting our waterbased plasters, wall glazes, plasters and waxes: mix pigments first with a little amount of water. Ensure that all clots are stirred out properly. Then add to the already mixed paint.<\/li>\n<li>For tinting our oilbased paints, lazures, hardoils and waxes: mix pigments first with a little amount of oil or balsamic turpentine oil. Ensure that all clots are stirred out properly. Then add to the chosen product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All pigments are light stable, and under exception of the Ultramarine pigments, also suitable for exterior use.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>The online colour guides are for informational purposes only. <\/em><br \/>\n<em>We would like to point out that the color tones cannot always be displayed correctly by different monitors and their settings. The same applies to self-created prints of these colour charts.
