The pigments only have to be pre-mixed with a little oil before mixing into our oil based varnishes and waxes. These short instructions will make it easier to start tinting with pigments.<\/p>\n<p>We use pigments because:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>they can be used universally (all Kreidezeit pigments can be mixed with each other)<\/li>\n<li>they can be stored indefinitely<\/li>\n<li>they are alkali-resistant<\/li>\n<li>genuine earth pigments have a special charm<\/li>\n<li>no preservatives or other additives are required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We do not produce colour pastes because they are not in line with our company philosophy. We do not use any preservatives or additives in our production which have to be used in the production of conventional colour pastes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-row\">\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-3\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oele-Wachse_01__DSC08239-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"kreidezeit naturfarben oele wachse 01\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>1. Give a part of the oil into a small container and add the required amount of pigment. <\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-3\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oele-Wachse_02__DSC08243-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"kreidezeit naturfarben oele wachse 02 \" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>2. Mix the pigment well with a stirrer. A viscous mass is to be produced.<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-3\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oele-Wachse_03__DSC08255-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"kreidezeit naturfarben oele wachse 03 \" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>3. Stir vigorously to obtain a homogeneous consistency.<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-row\">\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-3\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oele-Wachse_04__DSC08261-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"kreidezeit naturfarben oele wachse 04 \" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>4. Then add the mixture to the required amount of oil. <\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-3\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oele-Wachse_05__DSC08272-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"kreidezeit naturfarben oele wachse 05 \" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>5. Stir again thoroughly.<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-3\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oele-Wachse_06__DSC08304-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"kreidezeit naturfarben oele wachse 06 \" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>6. The hard oil was pigmented strongly, since some of the pigments are also rubbed off when wiping off the surpluses. Small amounts of pigment can be used in the interior. In exterior areas, a minimum percentage of pigment is required as UV protection. See product information.<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-row\">\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-3\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oele-Wachse_07__DSC08309-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"kreidezeit naturfarben oele wachse 07\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>7. The oil must be absorbed for at least 20 minutes. Then rub off any oil that has not been absorbed (excess oil) with a lint-free cloth.<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-3\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oele-Wachse_08__DSC08318-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"kreidezeit naturfarben oele wachse 08\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/> 8. We brushed the wood before the treatment to get a beautiful wood grain.
