Many KREIDEZEIT wall paints are specially formulated as powder and are only mixed with water on site shortly before processing. On the one hand the transport weight is reduced, on the other hand we can completely dispense with the use of preservatives. The latter makes them interesting for many allergy sufferers, but also brings with it only a limited shelf life of the mixed colors, usually only 1 to a few days.
\nIn many cases, however, it is necessary to finish a project in several time intervals. Constant remixing, especially of colour tones, can be impractical here.<\/p>\n
The actual service life of a mixture cannot be guaranteed and also depends on other influences. Storage of the mixtures at cool temperatures, use of clean water and clean tools (buckets, stirrers, brushes\/rollers) significantly prolongs the shelf life.<\/p>\n
