Many KREIDEZEIT wall paints are specially formulated as powder and are only mixed with water on site shortly before processing. On the one hand the transport weight is reduced, on the other hand we can completely dispense with the use of preservatives. The latter makes them interesting for many allergy sufferers, but also brings with it only a limited shelf life of the mixed colors, usually only 1 to a few days.
In many cases, however, it is necessary to finish a project in several time intervals. Constant remixing, especially of colour tones, can be impractical here.
The actual service life of a mixture cannot be guaranteed and also depends on other influences. Storage of the mixtures at cool temperatures, use of clean water and clean tools (buckets, stirrers, brushes/rollers) significantly prolongs the shelf life.
Pinol is a mixture of natural essential oils with a pleasant characteristic odour which usually disappears after 1 to a few weeks on painted walls.

Application
Recommended quantity: 5 ml Pinol per 1 kg Kreidezeit Wall paint (powder)
First mix the Kreidezeit wall paint with water ac-cording to the instructions, note the soaking time and stir again. Then stir in Pinol thoroughly for 1-2 minutes. Finished.
Never store mixed paint in open containers, but close them airtight. Additional covering of the paint surface with plastic foil prevents possible crust formation.
The condition of the mixture must be checked be-fore further processing after a longer storage peri-od. Do not use bad or foul smelling paint under any circumstances: Danger of prolonged odour prob-lems even after drying!
